The Stewardship Committee met on Monday, June 22 and reviewed the progress of the Stewardship programme so far. It was agreed that the Visitors (all 27 of them) did an excellent job of getting in touch with members of St. John’s and that thanks should be extended all and especially to Thea Parker who telephoned 29 members who are not able to attend services regularly at our sanctuary. The final tabulation of the results of our commitments has not yet been completed, but it is clear that the response was very satisfactory and that we can expect a significant improvement in our offerings over the next 12 months. The committee is now engaged in reading and organizing all the information each member of St. John’s has sent in and  responding to this information will be well under way by the beginning of September.
