ANGLICAN CHURCH WOMEN CHRISTMAS PUDDINGS
Orders Taken Oct. 1st to Nov. 1st.
$8.00 PER POUND

The Church of St. John the Evangelist is celebrating its 60th year of making and selling our traditional Christmas Puddings. These puddings are made the old fashioned way, from scratch. The ingredients are all natural with no preservatives or additives, and no nuts either.

After the puddings are steamed they are cooled, then wrapped in waxed paper and then wrapped in decorative cello wrap. The process from start to finish takes 3 days and a small army of volunteers. Over 2400 pounds of puddings are made and sold each year.

More than half of these puddings are purchased by individuals for their Christmas table, or as a gift for a teacher, neighbour or friend. The remainder are sold to regional Golf Clubs and restaurants. The Westmount Golf Club has served our Christmas puddings during the Christmas season for over 25 years.

The puddings come in one, two and three pound packages. One pound will serve 5 or six people. They can be refrigerated for at least 6 months, and will keep frozen for a year or more.
Each order includes 3 recipes for sauces that go well with the puddings.

Proceeds from the sale of the puddings go to outreach projects and church programs.

To place an order between Oct. 1st and Nov. 1st telephone MAUREEN at 519-886-7342 or ANNE at 519-893-8410. They will give you details of times for picking up your order at our church.

For orders outside Waterloo County ask for an estimate of mail or Fedex charges. These will depend on the weight and destination of your order.
