Spiritus Ensemble is a registered charity made up of singers and instrumentalists dedicated to the performance of the cantatas of J.S. Bach. Twice a year we perform one of these great works in an ecumenical setting.
The next Bach Vespers takes place on Sunday, February 5 at 4:00 p.m. at
The Church of St John the Evangelist, 23 Water Street North, Kitchener.
We will be performing Cantata 182, ‘Himmelskoenig, sei willkommen’ (‘Welcome, king of heaven’).
Soloists are Kate Wright, soprano; Jennifer Enns Modolo, mezzo-soprano; Bud Roach, tenor; and Rich Hrytzak, baritone; Kenneth Hull conducting.
Admission is free; donations are gratefully received.
