This year’s Fall Harvest Dinner will take place on Friday, October 16, starting at 6:00 pm. The menu this fall includes Roast Pork with Apples and Leeks, Savoury Onion Dressing, Mixed Seasonal Vegetables, Rosemary Roast Potatoes, and Apple-Cranberry Crumble. There will also be a vegetarian option. Complimentary wine will be available by the glass. And back by popular acclaim, talented local guitarist Juneyt will be providing the musical accompaniment. Volunteers are welcome to assist in preparing food, welcoming guests, serving, and cleaning up.
If you are able to volunteer for this event, please add your name to the signup sheet in the Narthex. Finally, this year’s Fall Harvest Dinner is a kickoff to the Renew Campaign at St. John’s. As such, there will be no charge for admission to the event, but freewill offerings to defray costs will be much appreciated. Seating is limited for the dinner, so tickets will be issued to those who plan to attend. They may be obtained from Charles Stuart following the 10:00 am service in the Upper Parish Hall or from the church office during opening hours. Thank you.
